Aarau 2012 officially opened

  The 16th National Selection Conference of EYP Switzerland was officially opened today at the Alte Kantonsschule Aarau. The participants had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Pascale Bruderer Wyss, Councillor of State and patron of the session, as a guest speaker to their Opening Ceremony. "I like EYP for three reasons. Not attending Aarau 2012 as Officials but you still do not want to miss out on the session? Join us for our Alumni reunion at the NSC in Aarau! We will meet on Saturday, September 1st at 4pm at the train station in Aarau. After a visit to the first part of General Assembly, we will go for dinner and join the rest of the participants for a party with the theme "nerds" at Aarau's famous KiFF club. Call for officials applications now open!

EYP Switzerland is delighted to launch the call for officials for our 16th National Selection Conference, Aarau 2012. The session will be presided by Kerstin Mathias (DE) and officials are expected to stay from the 28th of August til the 2nd of September. We're now open to applications for Vice-Presidents, Chairs, Editors and Journalists. More details about the session can be found in both the attatched call and under www.eyp.ch/aarau2012. Aarau 2012 – National Selection Conference

Students from all over Switzerland are invited to participate in our upcoming National Selection Conference in Aarau. From the 29th of August to the 2nd of September 2012, some 150 participants will gather to discuss European issues under the umbrella theme Networks – weaving the fabric of society. Two successful Regional Sessions behind us, two more to go

The first ever round of Regional Sessions of EYP Switzerland are in full swing. The first session in Geneva on March 2nd took place at the Salle du Grand Conseil of Geneva and was presided by Tiago Correia Machado (PT). The academic preparation of the delegates as well as their passion for debating made the session a resounding success. Lively debates also took place in Basel, where the second Regional Session was held one week later on March 9th, under presidency of Rita Grant (IE).
